1 Rifles are based in Chepstow. There is a spiral staircase leading from the entrance hall of the mess building up to the mess itself. This is where they have placed their commemorative table. The timbers I have used are the same as with the 5 Rifles table; Oak for the 40 leg spindles and the marquetry panels; Walnut for the table top. This time all the Officers' names are in the marquetry panels. In the centre is a raised Slate oval with the Regiment's solid silver cross belt badge set in.
